After attending her first wellness retreat in 2013, Peachie became determined to create one of her own. The Universe allowed her to do just that in a divine turn of events. In 2021, Peachie became a certified retreat leader, designing a luxury wellness experience for WOC. The alignment of her journey and her ultimate goal of mindful entrepreneurship became codified; Jus' Peachie Retreats was born. Jus' Peachie Retreats is a retreat company serving individuals seeking to expand their horizons and community. Jus' Peachie Retreats is an intimate event experience company specializing in mindfully-curated experiences and activations.
In the summer of 2022, Peachie put the knowledge she amassed into practice and curated an executive "dream team" that hosted twenty-six women for a five-star luxury wellness retreat, Elevate & Glow, in Negril, Jamaica. A mindful journey of personal exploration consisting of daily sound therapy, meditations, and other relaxation-inducing activities encouraged attendees to discover a self-love and self-care practice that would last beyond their days in Negril.
The retreat, the first of many, was described as "a journey to arrive at a heightened sense of self-worth, self-care, and self-love through the natural healing properties of herbal medicine utilizing ancestral and ancient modalities" and offered WOC from all walks of life and ages to come together to tap into these workings.
Peachie firmly believes in the beauty of the natural world and that our bodies can heal themselves if only we can apply the remedies, rituals, and routines previously performed by our ancestors but long lost to us.
As a veteran and social justice advocate, Peachie is well-versed in the current social and economic impact of all the advances legalization creates. Peachie works with her team to carve out spaces for self-expression and education within the legacy market and community.
When she’s not focusing her time and attention to the many arms of Jus’ Peachie she is the “OG-canna-god-mom” to a host of “canna-kids” and real life OG extraordinaire to a host of grandchildren.
Currently, Peachie is planning her next retreat adventures in the U.S. and abroad with her dream team and looking forward to spending time with her husband and extended family.
Peachie Wimbush-Polk (aka OG Peachie), is an author, speaker, mindful entrepreneur, and dedicated “OG canna-mom” located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. A proud Air Force veteran, longtime cannabis patient and advocate, Peachie is a loving “OG” to her grandchildren and “fairy-canna-godmother” to a host of “canna-kids” within the community.
Peachie is the author and creator of Embrace Your Power and Magic: 48 Nugs from the Queen of Stones , an oracle deck, with 48 “nugs of wisdom” designed to inspire the deckholder to embrace the powerful and magical beings they are. In response to the uprisings of summer 2020 and the murders of George Floyd and Brianna Taylor by law enforcement, Peachie also penned a piece for ‘Meeting At The Table: African-American Women Write on Race, Culture And Community,’ an anthology of essays; a continuation of her work to heal the ancestral blood line while adding to her writing repertoire. The process of writing that work reignited a desire to seek out avenues of resistance and ancestral healing, not only for herself but other women who might be longing for a similar experience.
